“The EFF event will discuss the role and potential of innovative solutions in the food chain towards achieving the objective of the European Green Deal / Farm to Fork strategy. In this context, the European Commission will present the main findings of the recently published study on study on new genomic techniques. Different private stakeholder sectors will showcase innovative solutions addressing challenges in different parts of the chain outlining their benefits towards improving the sustainability of the EU food system.

The EFF event will serve to identify bottlenecks, main issues and watch out for innovation in the EU agri-food chain and how to overcome them in order to foster research, incentivizing agri-food startup businesses, farmers and consumer’s expectations.

The EFF is looking forward to a fruitful discussion with panelists from different stakeholder groups of critical importance for the success of the topic and the Farm to Fork strategy.”
